To augment their mail-order merchandise sales, the Seattle Mariners agreed to place their products into an online team store. The products were put into a selection engine enabling users to place products into a virtual shopping cart. Online ordering with secure (encrypted) transaction completes the process, and the orders are automatically faxed to the fulfillment vendor.
